If you are new to SRQ Running or more structured training,
here are a few reminders before you come out for one of our workouts:

At least 8 oz water and a light snack/breakfast before each workout — toast with PB and/or jam or banana, small protein shake, yogurt, 1/2 bagel (PB is better than cream cheese but do what tastes best and agrees with you), small protein/sports or breakfast bar

Water for the track/workout

Sports watch with timer

Hat or cap with brim

Gloves or cap and longer tights if it’s cold

Technical clothing particularly for layer closest to skin

Sunscreen if it’s sunny — it may be cooler but the sun rays still penetrate

A smile and positive attitude — It may be hard to get out of bed but you will feel much better if you do!
